Video: Election Day Dharma Talk

YouTube video

It’s an important time to come together. We don’t want outer conflicts to take over the heart. We have the possibility within us to do magnificent things. In Zen they say there are only two things: You sit, and you sweep the garden. And it doesn’t matter how big the garden is. You quiet the mind, tend the heart, and your loving awareness becomes the oil that eases the hinge into the inner garden. Then we can venture into the conflict of the world with a peaceful heart and plant and water seeds of goodness.
