What does a “wise heart” mean?

Coined by Jack Kornfield, the concept of the wise heart reflects Buddhist Psychology’s belief that within each of us lies the unlimited capacity for love, joy, vitality, and freedom. This concept, and Jack’s book of the same name, is the result of his lifetime of experience as a master meditator, a practitioner of Buddhist Psychology, a public visionary, and an everyday human.

How is Interpersonal Neurobiology a “transformative science”?

The field of Interpersonal Neurobiology “IPNB” draws on the consilience across a wide array of fields, including psychology, physics, neuroscience, and anthropology, to provide a working definition of the mind and mental health. Based on this synthesis, IPNB offers a unique way of approaching the cultivation of health in our lives. IPNB is a scientifically grounded, practical framework for understanding the mind, what it means to be human, and how we can cultivate greater mental health and well-being for ourselves and the world.
