SUMMARY:What Is This Moment Asking of Us? The Call for Mindfulness Teachers [Online\, Free]
DESCRIPTION:We are living through a moment that asks something of each of us. Fear\, division\, injustice\, and violence are present in our communities and in our world. And yet these difficulties are not the end of the story. \nAs Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach have witnessed across decades of teaching\, the practices of mindfulness and compassion offer something no crisis can diminish: the capacity to stay present\, to act with courage\, and to meet suffering\, in ourselves and in others\, with a caring and open heart. \nThat capacity shows up everywhere\, in every kind of work. Nurses in neonatal ICUs. Educators reshaping school systems. Therapists\, coaches\, and yoga teachers. Community leaders reaching those who need it most. As Jack has put it: “There’s almost no profession where it’s not helpful.” \nJoin Jack and Tara\, hosted by Tami Simon\, for a free live conversation and guided meditation: \nWhat Is This Moment Asking of Us? The Call for Mindfulness Teachers \nA live conversation and guided meditation with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield\, hosted by Tami Simon. \nSeptember 3\, 2026 \n1:30 pm ET | 10:30 am PT \n[Save Your Free Spot]
